As part of my degree, I had the opportunity to experiment with 3D printing and designing small objects with Rhino 8. Throughout the semester we followed tutorials that taught us the basics by building basic objects. At the end of the semester, we got to design, model, and print and original idea.
Tic Tac Toe was my favourite travel game as a kid so i felt inspired to make a set of my own. I have seen different themed tic tac toes versions and decided to make one themed of bugs. I knew i would want a container to house the pieces as we as act like a board, so I designed the leaf box with that in mind. The box was unable to be printed with the school's printer and there are plans to print it at a later time.

The Leaf boxed (closed) next to an example of each piece. Instead of X's and O's, I designed Butterflies and Beetles.

Inside the box: I created ten holes instead of 9, so that each piece can be housed within when the lid is closed.
